
The name of Fanny Crosby is widely recognized as one of the great American hymnists, renowned for her beautifully crafted Christian hymns.
Despite losing her vision as an infant, Fanny Crosby composed over 8,000 hymn lyrics throughout her lifetime with more than 100 million copies printed. She has inspired people all over the world, and her songs such as “Blessed Assurance,” “To God Be the Glory,” “I Am Thine, O Lord,” and “Pass Me Not, O Gentle Savior,” have been sung by generations of church-goers throughout the world earning the title of Queen of Gospel Song Writers.
